Mar 25, 2019, Herald Democrat: The Sherman Economic Development Corp. recently celebrated its inclusion among an annual list of recognized economic organizations across the state.
SEDCO was formally named to the Texas Economic Development Council’s 2018 Economic Excellence Recognition program on Feb. 21 at the council’s legislative conference in Austin. The list includes 50 other similar organizations, all of which were assessed and identified through their overall effectiveness, certifications, professional memberships and staff-training participation last year. SEDCO board members acknowledged the recognition at the group’s regular monthly meeting but took no action on the matter.
