Sherman hosts Economic Roundtable, the present and future state of the city

SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - Residents filled Kidd Key Auditorium Friday to hear about the current and future economic state of the city as growth continues.
“As we continue to grow, we’ll continue investing in infrastructure and public safety and all of the amenities that make our city great,” Shawn Teamann, Sherman Mayor, said.
Growth has been a topic of conversation in Sherman for many years.
“Since I was a kid, I would hear these stories about the growth that was coming to Sherman,” Will Cain, Sherman native and host of “The Will Cain Show”, said. “Now, all of a sudden, all that promise that felt far off in the distance or [it] felt like an empty promise or an unfulfilled promise is happening. [But}, it’s happening right here before your eyes.”
