Mayor's Roundtable discusses changes in Sherman, upcoming H-E-B development

Fox News Host Will Cain and H-E-B Executive Juan-Carlos Ruck spoke this week about the growth taking place in Sherman and the factors that played into the community’s recent boom during Sherman’s annual mayor’s roundtable discussions.

In previous years, speakers for the annual economy-centered event have included GlobiTech President Mark England, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and businessman Ross Perot Jr. Last year’s discussion also included a tease ahead of the announcement of H-E-B’s plans to develop a new location in Sherman.

“This is our fourth annual mayor’s roundtable event,” Mayor Shawn Teamann said. “This is my first annual mayor’s roundtable event, and we are blessed with a previous mayor who started this event along with the SEDCO team. I think it is a fantastic opportunity for us to come together as a city and community to hear about all the many updates in the state of the city and also, of course, some of our recently announced exciting projects.”
