There’s been a lot of administrative change at the Sherman Economic Development Corp. over the last year, but the organization isn’t planning much change for its budget in the new fiscal year.
The Sherman City Council approved SEDCO’s 2018-2019 budget and program of work during a joint meeting Thursday. SEDCO staff presented plans for the new fiscal year, as well as the results of the 2017-2018 program of work during the meeting. The new budget reflects an expected $364,000 increase in sales tax revenue and a $62,694 decrease in salary expenses from last year’s budget.
