Shannon Blake joined the SEDCO team in August 2021 as the Economic Development Specialist. She was born and raised in Michigan, but as the saying goes, “She got to Texas as fast as she could.” After moving to Whitesboro, Texas in 2007, Shannon worked in the Accounting Department of Equine Services Unlimited, LLC and more recently served as a Deputy Clerk for Grayson County.

Shannon and her husband Eddie have two children, Ryan and Michelle. She serves as a trustee for the Whitesboro School District and is very involved in the community, including the First Baptist Church Children’s and Women’s Ministry, Whitesboro Riding Club, Girl Scouts, and Texoma Family Shelter.
