Ashton Bellows

Ashton Bellows joined the Sherman Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) in 2015 and has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2023.

Before joining SEDCO, Ashton built a diverse professional background with roles at Grayson College in Denison, Texas; KWTV News 9 in Oklahoma City; and her alma mater, Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications in 2010.

An active leader in the economic development community, Ashton serves on the Board of the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) and is Co-Chair of the TEDC Community Economic Development Award Committee. She is also a member of the Team Texas Advisory Council and the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC) Member Engagement Committee. Her professional affiliations include TEDC, IAMC, the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), and the Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC). Locally, she serves on the Sherman Education Foundation Advisory Committee and has previously served on the Grayson Crisis Center Board.

Ashton and her husband, Dave, live in Sherman, where they stay busy with their boys, Elliott and Miles, and two crazy dogs, Brownie and Belle.
